AASAA’s role in guiding the destiny of the Adivasis of Assam

Without planning and desiring for progress and development no society really makes any progress or development by itself. The external influences and factors may be sometimes responsible for the development but it is a very long, slow natural process. Behind every civilization, every development, every achievement be scientific, political, cultural, social industrial etc. there has always been a systematic planning, a partronage (resources), a preparation, a power to translate these plans into reality.

From the above it becomes crystal clear that unless it is planned, partronized, empowered to execute the plan the Adivasi Society cannot really make any progress and development. Since there are no such Adivasi organizations to perform this function (of planning, patronizing, propagating and executing) in spirit and letter, AASAA has to assume the role of guiding the destiny of the Adivasis of Assam if AASAA really means to work for its people.

4 steps to development in actual context of the Adivasis of Assam.

(1) Planning:-

The plan has to be popular, appealing and motivating the common mass. Set workable & achievable plans with a time frame.

(2) Propagating:-

plans have to be propagated through different mass media.

(3) Patronizing:-

find resources & funds to propagate and execute the plans.

(4) Empowering:-

A commitment to the cause of the Adivasis even to sacrifice ones life to free the Adivasis from the enslavement of injustice and exploitations and lead them to FREEDOM. The need to build up a political base, which in turn will be responsible for all round development.
