Parents, who they are?

Now that we are parents, we know what Parenting means to be. I never had realized how much our parents did for us and still do for us…excuse me I got a call its my son: He needs apples, pears and oranges.

What a coincidence! I am writing on parents and my son called me up. We too have always done this, whenever we needed something, we asked from our parents. They sacrificed their every need to fulfill ours. Often time I never thought about all these things but remembered always the sad part.

Take your time, sit quietly and think back. Start to think from the time you can remember things. You will see how much our parents have done for us everyday.

I am not a writer but I am writing on parents to tell them I am thankful for every breath that I take now. I am writing to tell them how much I must have made them cry, when I retaliated without understanding the situations. Today I am a father of two kids and I can understand better what it means to be parents.

It is said, water the plant and make it straight as it is growing so that it grows up to be a straight tree. Same thing it is with our life from childhood to manhood. It is our parents who helped us to grow into a person to live in a community. Often time we forget the good but always remember those days when we were corrected. Had we not been corrected and showed the right path by our parents guess where we would have been.

I was thinking; I before buying anything for myself I give a thought about the kids. Imagine how much they have sacrificed to make us what we are today, our parents must have never bought a thing for themselves to fulfill our dream. Do they ask anything in return? Never, only thing they expect is love and care. They fill proud when they see their kid successful in life. Yes the only way to make them satisfy for the things they have done for us is to become a successful child.

I know a writer can write a lot on parents but I am not a writer and so I end here and leave you to think about parents. Writing and reading twenty pages on parents will not make you do anything for them unless we think back and thank them from our heart.
