WGIP MEETING GENEVA

Dear Friends,

Please visit website www.unpo.org for all statements of WGIP (working group on indigenous popülation)meeting 18-22 july at Geneva.

Dr.R.D.Munda, Dr.Dhuni Soren, Mr. Joy Tudu, Miss Meenakshi Munda, Miss Sukanti Hembrom from Jharkhand, Mr. Rafael Kujur, Mr.Bosco Chermako from AASAA; Assam and myself took part in this meeting. This meeting was successful. This is the good news for our people. I hope that this will inspire our people to come forward and make next meeting more better.

First of all congratulation to all those who have attained the Geneva meeting…
It is great that they are representing us from India. I would like to request them if they could give the brief details about, what msg they got in the meeting? How they are going to implements the decisions made over there in India?, I think it would be a great news for the surfer of the website.( I beg their excuses if it has already been done as I am not aware of those articles) . More over if they could throw up the issues discussed over Geneva here in forum, probably we could get more diversified and fruitful views. It may not be the same but discussing those issue it self is a great thing.

Secondly… this is very de-motivating and saddened matter that some of our friends are acting hostile to the community members. Using harsh word is pathetic. There could have some problem in the server the other person was working on. We must understand his problem and give him a cool reply. I would like to request the author to be more patient and polite .he had taken the great responsibility when he was giving the site address.
